With LS Electric Cnet, the HMI reads and writes the product's ''M'' bits and ''D'' words by their Cnet variable names. Channels, wiring, and common communication settings are covered in [[:en-us_guide:hmi_connection:wiring|Wiring the HMI]]. Choose **the tool you use to write the product program** below. Settings and examples differ between the two.

You do not need to build the Modbus HMI screen or test real communication first.
