The X module adds four analog input channels to an MPA Series controller. Select the input type for each channel with its DIP switches. Up to five X and F modules can be combined, for a total of 20 channels.

Set the DIP switches for the signal on each channel. In MP STUDIO, press [ to insert the function block, then set the channel, value range, and destination D memory. One channel cannot take an analog signal and an NTC sensor at the same time.
Set CH0 to DC 0–5 V. In ADC, set the minimum to 0, maximum to 30000, and destination to D0. At 2.5 V, D0 reads approximately 15000. Sensor and conversion tolerances may affect the actual value.
For a 4–20 mA sensor, select ADC2. ADC does not treat 4 mA as the start of the measurement range.
