Download Cable Driver (MPS, MPA, MPINO, MPAINO)

To download a program to our products, you need to install the Silicon Laboratories CP210x driver. 

(The MPS/MPINO-8A8RS and MPS/MPINO-16A8R8T use a separate download cable with an FTDI chipset. For those you need to install the FTDI driver.)

1. For the CP210x driver, download " CP2102 Driver.zip ", then right-click " silabser.inf " -> Install.

  (You can find the latest driver at https://www.silabs.com/developers/usb-to-uart-bridge-vcp-drivers .)

2. On Windows 7 and later the FTDI driver is normally installed automatically through Windows Update. If it is not installed automatically,

  download " FTDI Driver.zip " and run " "CDM212364_Setup.exe " to install it. 

 (You can find the latest driver at https://ftdichip.com/drivers/ . Windows XP users should follow the link to download and use the driver.)

3. Once the driver is installed correctly and you connect the download cable to the product, the driver appears in Device Manager as shown below. 

  The CP210x driver must appear as Silicon Labs CP210x USB to UART Bridge, and 

  the FTDI driver must appear as " USB Serial Port ".
