Choose the driver for your product

The driver depends on how your product connects to the PC for program uploads. Check the model name, then open the matching download page below.

• Models using the MP Download Cable — MPINO series (except MPINO-16A8R) and MPS series (except MPS-16A8R and MPS-8A8R): FTDI USB driver details and download
• Models with a USB-UART bridge built into the board — MPINO-16A8R, MPS-16A8R, MPS-8A8R, every MPAINO model, and every MPA model: CP210x USB driver details and download

Check the COM port

Connect the cable or the board's USB port to your PC, then check Ports (COM & LPT) in Windows Device Manager. An FTDI connection appears as USB Serial Port (COMx); a CP210x connection appears as Silicon Labs CP210x USB to UART Bridge (COMx). If the port is missing, install the driver selected above and reconnect the device.
