Writing the Program in MPINO STUDIO2
With MPINO STUDIO2, the app generates the code that handles requests, based on its communication settings. The internal M and D memory shown on the HMI and its address format are listed on the page for the protocol you choose. Channels and wiring are covered in Wiring the HMI. Screen setup and result checks are covered in Building the HMI Screen and Checking Operation.
Follow the installation steps below if this is your first time. The Cnet example builds on the Modbus RTU project: enter the memory settings, ladder, and main code, then finish the first build and upload to the product. You do not need to build the Modbus HMI screen or test real communication first.
1. Install MPINO STUDIO2
- Download the latest installer from the MPINO STUDIO 2 installer download page.
- Run the installer and complete the installation.
- Start MPINO STUDIO2.
- Select your product under File → New. For MPINO-8A4R-S, select MPINO-8A4R(T)-S.
- Press
Ctrl+Sto save the project.
MPINO STUDIO2 installs the SDK for your product along with the app, so you do not need to install the Arduino IDE SDK separately.
