TAMR Box Function

Retentive Timer · 100ms

Category: Timer Box Functions

Behavior

Provides the same retentive behavior as TMR with a 100 ms tick. Use a ladder RESET coil to initialize it.

Syntax and Arguments

Syntax: TAMR T0 100

  • Target — timer memory T<n> (16-bit) or DT<n> (32-bit)
  • Time (preset) — 100ms ticks. A number (ticks) or a time unit like 1m10s

Behavior Example

Run condition Before Command entered Expected result
Left condition ON T0=40 TAMR T0 100 6 seconds (60 ticks) → T0=100, T0 done contact=ON

TAMR input, current value, and done state

Cautions

  • A numeric time is a tick count. The TON family uses 10 ms per tick, and the TAON family uses 100 ms per tick.
  • Use a ladder RESET coil, rather than box-function RST, to initialize the current and done states.
