TPL Box Function

Behavior

Turns the done state ON when the input changes to ON. It turns OFF when the input turns OFF or the set time expires, whichever happens first.

Syntax and Arguments

Syntax: TPL T0 100

  • Target — timer memory T<n> (16-bit) or DT<n> (32-bit)
  • Time (preset) — 10ms ticks. A number (ticks) or a time unit like 1m10s

Behavior Example

Run condition Before Command entered Expected result
Left condition turns ON once T0=0 TPL T0 100 0 s → T0 done contact=ON; 1 s later → OFF

Cautions

  • A numeric time is a tick count. The TON family uses 10 ms per tick, and the TAON family uses 100 ms per tick.
