TMON Box Function

Monostable / One-shot Timer

Behavior

Starts one pulse when the input turns ON and holds the done state ON for the set time. Input changes and retriggers are ignored during that pulse.

Syntax and Arguments

Syntax: TMON T0 100

  • Target — timer memory T<n> (16-bit) or DT<n> (32-bit)
  • Time (preset) — 10ms ticks. A number (ticks) or a time unit like 1m10s

Behavior Example

Run condition Before Command entered Expected result
Left condition turns ON once T0=0 TMON T0 100 0 s → T0 done contact=ON; 1 s later → OFF

Cautions

  • A numeric time is a tick count. The TON family uses 10 ms per tick, and the TAON family uses 100 ms per tick.
